Under the Motherly Influence
For Mother’s Day my husband typed up some of the things our children love about me and presented it with the breakfast they prepared. Sweet memories combined with the delightful way our children express themselves–all the makings of happy tears.
I set it down to start nibbling on my toast, and my oldest grabbed the paper to read to his younger sister. He read his part out loud, but before he started the next one he said: “This is Emma’s post about Mommy, your post is at the bottom.”
I laughed, amused & amazed, reflecting on the impressions I’ve made such a short time, wondering what the future will bring. It’s true what they say about the hands that rock the cradle & type the blogs…

Oh Téa, that is so precious! Thanks for posting that delightful illustration of the power of a mother’s example.

Hahaha, that’s awesome! It just goes to show that we’re *always* teaching–even when we don’t mean to be!
