Just the day before you published these two reviews, I posted these as two possible choices for the November book club reading on my site! They sounded good to me, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed them both. My husband, Sam, and I both loved Groberg's past two books. (Didn't like the movie nearly as much, as the spirituality was almost erased.) But we have an especially soft place in our hearts for anything Polynesian, since my husband served a mission in Samoa. I think I'll get him this for Christmas. Thanks for the review! Wow, I’m feeling so in touch! I think it's great that although the book is aimed at women, much of what President Hinckley says applies to anyone. I have already used quotes from it in a Sacrament Meeting talk about "Being of Good Cheer!" It has lots of motivating thoughts, and the prophet's optimism come through loud and clear.
