You know... you are right Michelle... these verses really hold the key to a happy life. I have some interesting trials right now that I am dealing with in regards to a friend who does not feel that life holds much joy for her and I just figured out what I can do to help her after reading your comment. Thanks!

Stephanie,
This is one of my all-time favorite scriptures, and has come to mean even more to me this past year. I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts and feelings and testimony here! Those few verses truly hold the key to a happy life, regardless of what trials we may face!

Thanks for this post, Stephanie. This has brought more depth to the thoughts I already had about Matthew 11:28-30. I have so much to learn about how to follow Christ!

Thanks Karen. Interesting how some verses seem to stick out over and over for awhile huh? These verses have been in my mind a lot lately too. I think what I was trying to say is that I think we need to hit our knees FIRST and not LAST as I tend to do and I need to repent of that. Ask first and then look for the answers, as the Spirit guides. Instead of doing what I normally do.... look for answers everywhere else or do what I have always done and expect the same result and then when I am at my wit's end I decide to pray about it. Thanks for your thoughts!

I have read and pondered this scripture a few times in the last few days, and just read it again this morning. I am trying to understand this scripture and it's principles better, to use them in my life. Your thoughts on turning to the Lord before we turn to modern technology, worldy advice etc, are very interesting. I know I tend to try to figure things out myself. I don't think I turn to the Lord right away and I would like to change this. Take Him at His word, let Him help me with my burdens, big and small. (The small sure seem to add up until all together they sure feel big!)
Thanks for sharing.
