I followed the links and listened to a little bit of some of the songs. It has me somewhat interested. I listen to a lot of the Contemporary Christian music on the local radio stations, or on line, and it sounds like this cd could fit in with that type of music.

Anna,
I really did buy this album myself, after I bought my own ticket to Time Out for Women just because I wanted to go, just as I said in the story.

As for 'product placements,' I started doing the monday book reviews after I'd noticed several sisters complaining that there wasn't any good reading material for LDS women. I write them to help sisters connect with titles that I think they will like and will uplift and edify them. No one puts me up to it, and I do not take any money for doing it. I saw a need and I wanted to fill it. I also just enjoy the reading and the writing.

I did approach Deseret Book about sending me copies of some of their new books for review, as it gets quite expensive buying all the latest ones to read through and decide what to write about. I do occasionally receive shipments from them, but not everything I review came in a shipment.

I appreciate your idea of a disclaimer, and I'll add one to the "introduction" document in the sidebar sometime this week. Thanks for drawing this to my attention. I'm sorry it left you feeling somewhat negative. The books (and now one cd) that I have written about on here, have all been written about because I do like them that much, and I do think that other people will like them as well.

Edit: If you, Anna, or anyone else even, is interested in discussing this further, please feel free to email me directly. Good input is always appreciated! naiah at synthian d'org. Thanks!

You sure have lots of product placements on this website. Maybe you should include a disclaimer in all the reviews of the products you don't buy yourself.
